Corrosion - Erosion Monitoring
ClampOn Corrosion-Erosion Monitor (CEM)
ClampOn's Corrosion-Erosion Monitor (CEM) measures the pipe-wall thickness in a section of pipe of up to two metres in length. The CEM consists of one master sensor and up to eight slave sensors, which are glued to the selected section of pipe in a specific lattice. The slave sensors transmit and receive ultrasonic signals, which create a complex matrix. The matrix of signals is processed by the master sensor in order to determine the pipe-wall thickness in real time.
