The TT-Au-pH Gold pH Sensor is the result of more than 20 years experience in gold ore mining and refining processes. This sensor continues to provide unparalleled performance and service life in this demanding application earning it the respected title of being the best in the industry.
Leaching gold with cyanide is the most common method of gold recovery from ores, and requires precise electrochemical control of a number of reagents. Alkaline environments are a must for safety; incorrect pH control can cause over-use of reagents and create highly dangerous process environments with the evolution of Hydrogen Cyanide. We have supplied accurate, long life sensors for pH, ORP and cyanide into numerous gold processing facilities throughout Australia, Asia and Africa for almost 25 years.
Every process has its own specific challenges, and the ability to customise our sensors depending on specific ores has meant that we get the highest level of accuracy and the longest lifetimes in any gold mining environment. Dissolved gas resistance, cyanide resistant, tough pH glass elements and customisable body plastics are just some of the solutions we have come up with over the years. This popular sensor configuration utilises our superior, slurry resistant RADEL body plastics which provide extra durability in high impact and high abrasion environments. The 3/4” thread on the front end provides a quick and convenient means to install directly inline, or alternatively utilise the 1” MNPT back end connection to install onto an immersion rod or stand pipe. The high capacity triple junction KYNAR reference provides exceptional resistance to sulphides and other dissolved gasses.
