The Turtle Tough TOUGH6 pH & ORP Sensor with high-density ion resistant glass formula has a long history of success in applications where specific ions chemically alter, contaminate or erode the glass element. High concentrations of hydrofluoric acid are brutal on pH sensors, specifically attacking the glass and significantly reducing sensor life. Other applications that have saturated levels of sodium ions, such as brine and seawater, also cause glass contamination that quickly effects performance and service life. By utilising our specially formulated ion resistant glass we can ensure superior accuracy, stability and longevity.
The TT-TOUGH6-pH and ORP Sensors utilise the highly chemical resistant Radel body plastics with a 1″ MNPT back end thread and a 3/4″ front end thread. Smart Sensors are ALL equipped with our standard backend waterproofing and can be optioned with extreme waterproofing. The standard Polypropylene reference provides a very fast response. Alternatively the high capacity double junction KYNAR reference provides exceptional resistance to sulphides and other dissolved gasses.
This sensor is available with our digital smart sensor technology. This plug and play sensor has a quick connect fitting, eliminating the need for hard wiring to the analyser. Onboard sensor memory allows the storage of calibration data, analyser configurations and sensor service history. This allows the sensor to be conveniently maintained and calibrated off-site or in the laboratory and pre-programmed with calibration data and analyser configurations. This stored information automatically uploads to the analyser upon connection and eliminates the need for any interaction with the analyser, greatly simplifying the change-out of sensors. A service log stored on the sensors is ideal for maintenance and quality assurance records.
