Project	Inline Inspection with INGU Pipers
Project Overview	Aquip were approached to assist a West Australian client, within the Water Industry, to better understand the working condition of their pipeline. The 5.8km long pipeline was experiencing pressure drop, leak & deposit issues including hot tapping. Both Aquip and the client worked together to create a detailed timeline for the project application, sourced all required pipeline drawings and put a deployment and retrieval plan in place to ensure that the process ran effectively, with no delays. We met the client onsite and deployed our INGU Pipers – an operating system for pipeline integrity with multi-sensor surveys. Our team were onsite with the client throughout the process and assisted with the retrieval of the Pipers.
Project Challenges	The pipeline was deeply submerged under roads, as well as residential and commercial properties. There was also a time constraint due to an early major maintenance shutdown. Our client required the data urgently so they could determine the areas to dig during this maintenance shutdown.
Project Results	We were able to complete the project prior to the timeline due date. The survey report was issued to the client within 14 days of retrieval of the pipers. With this valuable data information, the client was able to understand their pipeline health condition. Our INGU Pipers were able to find various pieces of information including: A change in pipeline material from steel to PVC Leak locations to determine where the maintenance team were to dig and repair Pressure drop & valve locations
